As one of the largest independent suppliers of auto parts in the Mid-Atlantic region, Papa Auto Parts has been a part of Baltimore’s automotive history for over seventy years. The company was founded in 1934 as a Service Parts Company by Meyer Mike Chernock. Mr. Chernock actively managed his company until he passed away in 1997. Formerly the owner of a cab company, Mr. Chernock was already familiar with the automotive industry when he opened his first location on Boyd Street in east Baltimore. The company first relocated to the corner of Mulberry and Freemont Avenues and then, eventually, to Reisterstown Road in 1955. As one of the few pioneers in the automotive replacement industry, Mr. chernock began to expand by opening the first Papa Auto Parts location in Randallstown in 1967. Over the years, Papa Auto Parts has continued to grow, and now has twelve jobber stores and one warehouse distribution center serving the Baltimore Washington Metropolitan area. Papa Auto Parts serves over 2000 customers with one of the largest inventories in the region, over 200 knowledgeable employees, and a fleet of over 70 vehicles. Papa Auto Parts looks forward to a new millennium by continually establishing partnerships with our customers through the distribution of quality parts, excellent service, and competitive pricing. Support by our customers, effort by our employees, and the legacy of Mr. Chernock’s six decades of dedcation are just a few reasons why you can rely on Papa Auto Parts for all of your automotive needs.
